party finished their business in the house where they fought a spectator and saved some young members of KB&S. They found a few scrolls, then went on to Texi's Trinkets, where they sold a lot of stuff, got a lot of money, and spent a lot of gold as well. They met another KB&S member here, a young wood-blooded whom they made uncomfortable.
They went south through the district where they first ran into an old dwarven who was being denied access to a home because it wasn't safe, according to the Goldcloaks. She tricked them into going in there anyway, where they were attacked by mimics everywhere. Shockingly, it was Mordus who was closest to dying. The dwarven lady turned into a spider to invade the home undetected by the mimics while everyone was occupied, and looted a few books.
The party survived, saw what could be found in the home, then went onwards when they were stopped by a reporter named Dorodash Belogall. They embellished a story of how they fought the zombie dragon (the T-rex) to great effect, before ultimately deciding that any place to sleep was too far away and that they should camp out in the abandoned mimic house.
