The gelatinous cube is a massive, transparent creature that glides slowly through caverns and dungeons, leaving a trail of slime in its wake. Its body is a cube-shaped mass of jiggling, translucent jelly, with dozens of squirming tentacles protruding from its sides. Its eyes are tiny and beady, giving it a nearly blind appearance, but its other senses are highly attuned, allowing it to detect the presence of living creatures nearby.
