Setting off towards the Hunting Grounds, taking a shorter route through a nearby cave, the party got into a fight with a group of kobolds, an earth elemental, and two flail snail in what looked to be an abandoned mine. Here they met Drazvik and Galantar Sol-Malarch and joined forces before venturing on.
Further in, they did their best not to agitate the fungal dragons that made this place their home, as some of them were clearly quite friendly. One blades creature stalked them through the cavern but was eventually confronted and polymorphed into a frog. The party then discovered a wooden chest at the bottom of a chasm guarded by a big burly fungal creature and decided to engage it to get its belongings.
