It details the life and death of Thrizur's holy steed, an enormous wolf named Gorvik, one of several of his companion wolves.
The steed died defending Thrizur and his spouse during a war which, by the account of the tome, seems current. Its bones lie buried in an unknown location on top of the Great Chain mountains.
