The party discovered a weird pond through which came the smell of rotten food. After investigating it, they found that it was a portal to another location within the Hunting Grounds. Swimming to the shore in a new location, they were beset by a large pride of invisible lions, lead by the 'white tiefling'. He toyed with them and was sure that if they lived the onslaught of lions that they would lead him right to the Beast of the Hunting Grounds.
The party was victorious but wounded. Polly, the bee spirit in the band around Mordus' finger, urged the party to go deeper into the woods. Here, they came across an old chapel. They were ambushed by shambling corpses but quickly dispatched them. Pollenella swore she could feel the presence of her Knight, Dandelion, inside the old chapel.
