If left in the sun from dawn to dusk, will glow brightly when unsheathed. Casts bright light in a 30' radius and dim light 20' beyond that. Glow lasts for 1d4 days (rolled at dusk after "charging").
Steel with sun etching on either side of the head. Ash wood handle with a diamond pattern running down its length. Has a leather belt sheath that completely covers the axe head.
