A native of the Accasian Isles, Shaeleth is the ever-well-composed and well-mannered captain of The Vagrant Albatross. She has spent much of her life on the waves and specializes in trade between the Koumazot Islands and the cities of the Stormshale Coast. She keeps a tight crew and ensures that those who give their best on her behalf are treated fairly in return. Despite her disciplined appearance, Shaeleth is known to gamble readily while out on the sea, and more than a few of her crew have found themselves cleaned out before the voyage's end.
She is friends with Tyron Landsend, captain of the Harpies' second vessel, The Squalor's Splendor. Many years back, Shaeleth bested Tyron, a then vicious pirate of the Windfall Archipelago, when he attempted to raid her ship. Rather than killing the old sea dog, Shaeleth spared him, and Tyron has been repaying that debt ever since.
