Murkledorn Academy

A private school serving the progeny of well-to-do North Ward families unable or reluctant to shoulder the onerous cost of private tutors. Murkledorn promises a well-rounded education for children between 8 to 14 and employs a dozen or so teachers to that effect.

Its senior staff consists of:

• Salazar Murkledorn, the headmaster, who etiquette, and self-defense (swords, dagger, crossbow).
• Romero Multari, who teaches languages and writing.
• Baltasar Englehart, who teaches mathematics, science, herbalism, and beginning potions.
• Lucas Mendelson, who teaches business and economics. The newest member on staff, he's wildly frustrated by his attempts to teach even basic business and economic skills to his privileged Waterdhavian students.
• Glaara Ironfist, who teaches basic cooking and repair skills in addition to being cook and building custodian. She is beloved by the children for her creativity in the kitchen, despite her sometimes-gruff exterior.

Murkledorn Annex

Attached to the academy is a two-story townhouse that houses the school's kitchen and Glaara Ironfist's quarters on the ground floor, and Salazar Murkledorn’s private quarters and office on the second level.
