Ship's Prow Inn

An inn well-known among sailors of the Sword Coast and easily found, as it is actually a converted ship's prow that now juts into Fish Street and Ship Street.

Years of wind and weather have turned the boards of its upper floors and outside balconies silvery and on a clear night, it gleams in the moonlight. Inside, the floors are so warped that they rise and fall in smooth curves like the deck of a ship amidst sea swells. It offers no alcohol, but provides three meals per day and has a variety of teas on hand.

Though the streets just outside are busy with the sounds of the docks and surrounding night life, the interior is surprisingly quiet and offers a an ideal haven for those of modest means new to the city. Though shabby, the Prow feels comfortable and homelike and provides a cozy place to sleep. It is also known to be popular among masks young nobles seeking an exciting tryst.

The inn's peace and survival is due to the magical efforts of Shryndalla Ghaulduth, the Prow's resident wizard and part-time cook. This cheerful old soul pads around in worn slippers and food-stained robes, accompanied by an entourage of cats.
