Bowels of the Earth

This rough, rowdy tavern is a cheap but cozy dive popular with mercenaries and adventurers. Mercenaries and adventurers and those looking to hire them are welcome here, provided they are male; lady adventurers often have to use their fists or spells to win the respect needed to remain untroubled.

The Bowels is known for the perpetual darkness of its interior; its windows have long since lost all their glass and are covered with wooden shutters, and hooded candlelamps at each table provide the only illumination.
