Essimuth is a short, battle-scarred older man who loves a good yarn. A dull, jagged scar runs from brow to jaw on the right side of his face, interrupted by an eye patch, and his right leg is replaced below the knee with a peg leg (carved by Essimuth) into a little owlbear bearing his weight on its shoulders and arms. He sits on a stool behind the main counter all day, constantly whittling and carving pieces of wood that he also sells as trinkets (his standards are little orcs that he often just tosses to children who enter his shop).
