When The Hood burst into the scene a few years ago, many questions arose. His identity is a closely guarded secret, but he also seems exceptionally well-trained, especially since he does not seem to have any superhuman powers.
Despite a few reprimands for violent arrests, he's been able to always catch the crook and leave them for the Unknown.
Upset with Bloodhound getting off lightly in the legal system, The Hood assassinated him from long range in his apartment.
He was killed by Tachyon when he was confronted by Tachyon, Binary and Raquel in the trap he set for Salvatore "Sally" Palermo.
