A simple, unprocessed root commonly used by goblins. It is a potent drug that must be chewed over the course of several hours, during which the user has increased alertness, perception, and focus. However, it also causes minor hallucinations and nervousness. The juices from the root can stain the teeth and lips with repeated use, leading to addicts being easily distinguishable thanks to their blood-red teeth and lips.
The drug is sometimes used by city watchmen to stay alert for long periods of time, earning its title, "Watchroot". Taking the drug is often referred to as "going on watch".
