Sydon est le Maitre des Océans et de tout ce qui en découle, Il a l'apparence d'un homme barbu à trois yeux d'une taille colossale et porte un glaive sombre d'allure menaçante. Il guette inlassablement la terre et la mer, invoquant des tempêtes pour punir les individus qui lui déplaisent. Sydon est un dieu jaloux et vengeur qui ne tolère pas le culte d'autres dieux que lui et sa sœur et épouse, Lutheria.

Tous les temples de Thyléa craignent la fureur de Sydon. Chaque village lui offre des sacrifices quotidiens, et pendant ce temps, les habitants adressent des prières silencieuses aux Cinq. Dès que le tonnerre gronde dans les cieux de Thyléa, vous pouvez être sûr que quelqu'un a provoqué la colère de Sydon.
