River Glen is the triangle of land created by the two rivers that run from Athos to Claystone Lake. It is a secluded place that remains almost entirely unspoiled, and has at times been the homeland of various Segemoorish tribes.
The confluence of the two westerly rivers are called Loudwater, for they drop together thunderously into a pool that feeds a river through the moor. During the driest season the waters can be easily forded at multiple points, but for most of the year, only the bridge crossing can be used.
Presently River Glen is not inhabited by a tribe, and so during summertime the chief danger is highwaymen, who often exact tolls at the crossing. During winter, the highwaymen must become more proactive, or retreat to a nearby settlement. Of old, the chieftains would make treaty with the eastern kings to guarantee safe passage in exchange for rich gifts.
