El Skala Cove

Sea

This little-known inlet along the Rhachloa Downs coast once had an Armorcian fortress nestled among the rocks. It is now defunct.

An Al-Qudsi force once landed here and made its way across the Krokesteppe. The punitive raid was part of the Alsuriean Solar Schism, and left behind payloads of Mashay Chartamancy. Some paper creatures can still be found here as a result. Most who find them only suffer moderate papercuts.

A hidden gem nestled along the southern coast of the Rhachloa Downs. This rocky inlet boasts a unique and intriguing landscape shaped by both nature and history. The climate in El Skala Cove is characterized by mild temperatures throughout the year, with gentle sea breezes and occasional coastal fog that adds an ethereal touch to the surroundings.

The terrain blends rugged rock formations, towering cliffs, and small sandy beaches. The rocks form many natural alcoves and hiding spots for small vessels. The inlet itself provides a sheltered harbor, where lies an abandoned Armorcian fortress, strategically positioned among the rocks to protect the coastline.

The fortress was sacked during the Alsuriean Solar Schism. As part of a punitive raid, The Mashayan Dominion made their way across the Krokesteppe, leaving behind remnants of Mashay Chartamancy, abandoned paper creatures that linger in the cove, hiding from the elements and attacking at will. The papers are very old, and not as deadly as they once were.
