This mysterious lake has no rivers that flow into it, and as it is so close to the shadow of The Montaignes it scarcely rains. The waters are clear and almost always still. No verified fish have ever been caught in these waters. It is safe to drink, but has an unpleasant aftertaste commonly described as disturbingly flatulent.
The basin gets little use, except as a pleasant retreat by the citizens of Prima Canidia. Its waters also serve as no-man's land between Military Republic of Altonbrun, Kurzmarch Ford, and Prima Canidia. Among those with access, Canidaurs seem least bothered by the smell of the waters.
