A simple circlet of platinum inlaid with iridescent opal. While worn, you gain a sixth sense for danger; your awareness of threats is heightened to an almost unbearable degree. Gain +HD (not an extra die, but set one die in your pool to 10) when detecting traps, dodging, blocking, spotting hidden enemies, and more. The circlet only works when it is exposed to its surroundings, and when it is in direct contact with your head. 

Cedric was chief of security for one of the most hated kings in known history. Despite the sometimes daily assassination attempts, the infamous regent survived a decade and a half with Cedric at his side. Ever more paranoid, he eventually came to suspect Cedric of plotting against him. It proved his undoing.
