Zephyr Blackthorpe is a tiefling sorcerer and previous member of Nicolas Beaufont's adventuring party.
Appearance
Zephyr is thin and gaunt, with blonde hair in loose, greasy waves and icy blue eyes. His most notable trait, however, is the appearance of his face, which has been warped into a grotesque grin of needle-like fangs that sharply limit his language ability.
He experiences some discomfort with typical clothing, preferring to wear simple, loose garments with little adornment.
Personality
Zephyr seems to express himself on a nearly animalistic level, though this is likely due to his upbringing and general lack of socialization. Others' lack of understanding leads him to often become violent in order to meet his needs, but in the presence of those he trusts and considers to be allies, he is often more subdued, though his frustration over the lack of communication is always present.
He seems to experience little to no remorse over his violent actions, however, particularly when he is overtaken by wrath.
Background
Early Life
Zephyr was the second child born to Doladrion's Blackthorpe family. After realizing his differences, present at birth, would make him difficult to raise and nearly impossible to assimilate into high society, his parents opted to keep him under wraps, ensuring that his existence would remain a secret. Throughout his childhood, only his sister, Elaandra, attempted to make any meaningful contact with him, and even this was discouraged by his parents. Eventually, he would break free from his imprisonment and kill both of his parents, leaving only Elaandra alive and both children free from their parents' influence.
Abilities
Zephyr has no formal training in any fighting style, but prefers to fight in close quarters with both magic and weaponry. He is capable of entering an alternate state, in which he is granted claws and a tail of cracking ice.
Interactions
The Search for the Star
Zephyr played a minor role as an antagonist both in the temple at Mt. Selliduin and in Doladrion during Nicolas Beaufont's pursuit of Aurumvorax.
