Age of Awakening, 1012, also written as 1012 AE ( Anrand Echui)

World timeline

The elves names this the Anrand Echui. The age of awakening.

Age of awakening (AW) 1 — 1,001

Age of awakening, year 1: The beginning of the Hobgoblin empire and the rise of the Church of Sharshak. 

Age of awakening, year 200: The height of power of the Hobgoblin empire and worship of Sharshak, the goddess of war and their Empress. The Saroc'tal awaken to a new world and a new existence

Age of awakening, year 300: Sharhsak is close to gaining back her full divine power. The free races of Gorathell fight a desperate battle against the hobgoblin Empire, the war lasts for 50 years.

Age of awakening, year 350: With the aid of the other nations of the world the Hobgoblin empire falls. Five Kingdoms spring up in the northern part of the Continent of Gorathell

Age of awakening, year 400: The Elven Kingdom of Tal is established in the east of the continent, and the War of the sultans starts in the great desert to the south.

Age of awakening, year 450: The Sultans broker peace each of the five remaining clans agree to rule their own lands as they please. The Theocracy of Erethiel is established on the Easter lands of Gorathell, by the orc warrior Erethiel Irontooth who had a vision. The Theocracy conquer the Kingdoms to the North and the birth of the church of the Trinity is born. Fifty years later the Theocratic Empire is born.

Age of awakening, year 600: The prophet arrives in the south, preaching the dangerous of bring back the gods. The prophet and her followers start a war of salvation against the Theocracy.

Age of awakening 700: The Theocracy think of the prophet as nothing but a nuisance and are focusing on  their war with the Elven kingdom. This will lead to the breaking of the Theocratic Empire and the rise of the Sigil Empire in the north.

Age of awakening, year 800: The Dominion goes to war against the Etray federation and the Zamoran lands

Age of awakening, year 1001: The Imperium of the Sigil now rules most of the northern lands of the Continent of Gorathell.

  • The Theocracy of Erethiel: Theocracy Age 451 ( TA)

  • The Elven Kingdom of Tal: Age of Tal 599 ( AOT)

Age of Reclamation, year 2000-1300, Age of rebirth 1-700 (AR) 2,000 — 200

Age of Reclamation, year 2000: The races of the world try to reclaim the surface world and rebuild after their victory over the scourge. The scourge mist plagues the surface world; the races of the world are on guard for the return of the scourge.

Age of Reclamation. Years 1600: The scourge mist is destroyed, and the great reclamation begins.

Age of Reclamation, years 1300: Civilization has reclaimed the surface world, heralding the age of Rebirth.

Age of Rebirth, year 150: The orc curse is lifted. Leaving the orcs confused at the anger they once felt. They become their own race and settle on the continent of Amitan with their parent race. Others become nomads. Most of the races of the world have a hard time believing that they are no longer a savage bloodthirsty race, living only for the thrill of war. 

Age of Rebirth, year 200: The Dominion is established on the continent of Erithell. Rumors of the High elves return are whispered of in the halls of power.

Age of Rebirth, year 200: The arrival of a strange race of artificers and machine makers, known as Gnomes, come to the continent of Xarth. They start to consume all the natural resources of the land, but are stopped by the five goblin kingdoms, with the aid of the Human kingdoms of Gorathell. After sixty years of war, an unstable peace is established.

Age of Rebirth, year 500: The Saroc’tal arrive from their destroyed world and settle on the continent of Amitan. Scholars learn that they are the original race of orcs.( In truth they arrived during the age of the Scourge and went into hiding. During this age the last of the elders die.)

Age of Rebirth, year 621: A powerfull wizard, calling himself the Lord of Iron establishes the lands of Tranvaria.

Age of the Scourge. (ATS) 10,000 — 2,400

Age of the Scourge, year 6000: The war of the god’s spills into the prime material plane and eventually to Barator.

Age of the Scourge, year 4900: The discovery of the monolith.

Age of the Scourge, year 4500: The scourge infects the world of Barator and battle the gods. The resulting battles shatters the continents of the world and remakes the very landscape, seas become mountains and entire continents vanish bellow the sea.

Age of the Scourge, year 4000: The first of the young Gods fall, his death strengthens the scourge, they ravage the world.

Age of the Scourge, year 3500: The Gods call upon the aid of all the races of the prime material plane to fight the scourge.

Age of the Scourge, year 3000: The final battle is fought on Barator, gods and mortals stand side by side.

Age of the Scourge, year 2500: The elder gods sacrifice their divinity, giving the mortals of Barator and the prime material plane, the weapons and knowledge to defeat the Scourge.

Age of the Scourge, year 2000: Five mortals discover divinity and become demigods with their power and that of the mortals and the gifts bestowed upon them by the old gods. They push back the scourge.

Age of the Scourge, year 1500: The five sacrifice themselves at the site of a massive black and red monolith that pierces the world and all the planes of existence. In their place appears an island with massive golden crystals. Much like what the elder gods left behind when they sacrificed themselves. Except they left behind blue crystals that was used to create weapons and items of powers that could destroy the scourge. Those who have tried to mine the golden crystals are never heard from against.

Age of the Scourge, year 1400: The long battle to reclaim the world from the scourge is coming to an end.

Age of the Scourge, year 1300: Ner’gash last of the scourge lords is imprisoned. 

The Great Reclamation (GR) 1 — 1,300

The Great Reclamation lasted Seven hundred years and started at the end of the Scourge Wars until the beginning of the Age of Rebirth. The surface world was uninhabitable during this time, filled with terrible monsters and beasts. There were chaotic Arcanite storms, as well as the Crimson mist that would, without warning, appear and mutate any creatures it touched into mindlessly vicious monsters seeking only to cause death and destruction.
