The Archivists: The Archivists, another arm of the Council of Metis. They oversee that business and magical institutions, are following the laws put down by the Empress. That They are not selling illegal items, spell components, or casting spells without the proper permit, and they are not casting illegal spells( Necromancy, demon magic, blood magic etc).
Archivists conclaves are established in each of the major cities, within each of the five fiefdoms. Each of the conclaves has anywhere between six to twelve archivists. The archivists always have two guards flanking them. The guards and archivists wear the colors of the empress (Azura blue) and her sigil.
