A woeful spirit born from the sin of their past life, the Banshee is a curse and a punishment on the soul of one who has done terrible deeds in their past life. Whether they choose to seek redemption in their new life, or continue to terrorize the living is a choice they find on their own. They often come to the living as an omen of death, letting out wailful screams to warn of their coming demise. It could be tomorrow, it could be days, but all find death after hearing the Banshee’s wail. In modern times, some have taken on a mortal form, either to wreak havoc or to absolve themselves of their sins. Some are summoned by Fae for good or for ill and given a body for them to inhabit. However the Banshee chooses to find solace in their new existence, their screams still haunt the isle in the dark of the night.
