Large Settlements
Tullach Port is the isle's only city, and home to half its population. It's a bustling modern city, but with old roots. Founded by Owyen Gallhager in the latter half of the 8th century AD, it started with humble beginnings. By the time of the Norman invasions of Eire in the late 1200s, it was a small city, but home to fierce and independent people, well versed in defending their shores from invaders. And the stout castle that still stands near the heart of old town is proof of that. Now centuries later it has grown, even if it's still small by mainland standards. The city is home to both the best of the old and new worlds; these are just a few of the most well known spots in town:
- The beautiful cathedral of St. Brigid, and its Victory square, built in 1332,
- The University of St. Brendan established shortly after the founding of trinity college in 1601.
- The infamous Garden and its rumored delights
- The Whales Rest pub near the docks.

The University of St. Brendan was founded 1601 by the church and a few wealthy inhabitants of the isle. Part of its founding at the time was to compete with Trinity College at Dublin, which had been founded less than ten years before. Since it was founded by the crown, Trinity forbade Catholics from attending, and so St. Brendan's would be an alternative for Irish Catholics. It is home to a large and respected conservation program that works to study and protect the exotic flora and fauna of the island. The church is often working to get scholarships and assistance so that anyone with the potential, no matter their social standing, can strive to better themselves.

Along the northern side of the isle is Innishmore, resting along the banks of the river Claire where it meets the sea. It's an old town that's been home to many generations of fishermen. They're a close knit and somewhat superstitious lot, but sturdy and dependable folk when you gain their trust. This town is home to both the a modern fishery and the Old Castle, a landmark built sometime before the 1200s.
Small Settlements
Nestled near the heart of the wild woods lies the town of Glaisinkyl, a place full of strange tales of the woods that surround it. At the center of town lies the Old Oak, an ancient still living tree which houses a tavern that claims to have existed for over thousands of years. Among the old style houses rises the newcomers of glass and steel, a symbol of the modern era. It's also home to the Calhoun Research Center, a top-of-the-line lab and hub for various projects and experiments across the island.
Strange tales and stories of creatures and beings from myth have always surrounded this town, but most inhabitants see it as nothing more than old campfire tales born in the shadows of the old woods. Most of them. There may be more fact than fiction to some of those tales...

The Monastery perches in the hills to the north of Glaisinkyl, beyond the thick wild woods. The brothers keep to themselves, but possess many artifacts of the isle, guarding their records and relics from prying eyes and grasping hands. Some legends speak of an ancient shrine below the monastery, built before man ever arrived.
