The belt as it is mostly called is the largest deciduous forest on the know continent. Very dense in some spots and near unpassable, but in others it is open and lush with life. The belt stretches from the SW near the Emerald Forest all the way NE to near the Ridges of Solitude. The Lumiottas is very bio diverse and is some of the best hunting/trapping and foraging ground in the known world.
