The free city of Ellestin is the crown jewel of the north. The largest city in Merilleon is the home of many of the differrent races found all through Ylta. Located on the shore of the Ellestin bay, at the mouth of the great river Kali, Ellestin started as a prominent port city. Because of this, a lot of the races of Merilleon moved in to gain part of the trade. Over time, Ellestin grew to a large metropolis, attracting many kinds of different people. This in term instigated the founding of the Dealanai Academy amongst other large enterprises.

The Dealanai Academy

The Dealanai Academy is the most well-known arcane academy in Merilleon, located in the district of White Hills.

The Palace

This is the house of The Council of Ellestin, here the council convenes and rules over the city. The Palace is also located in the district of White Hills.

The Copper Stage

The Copper Stage is the name of the largest continuous market in Ellestin. It consists of a large circular building in which stores can be found, resembling an arena. In the inner circle of the building is a sea of canvas and tents, under which countless market stalls can be found. Outside of the stage are several streets and squares which also contain a fair amount of shops and stalls. The inner circle of the stage has four entryways: On the North, South, East and West side.

The Stock

This is the headquarters and prison of the city guard. It also contains a temple of the Sentinel.

The Evergreen Garden

Located on the doorstep of a sanctuary of the Lady, the Evergreen Garden is a park of beautiful, ever-blooming plants and flowers.

The Emra

This is the largest podium and entertainment center in all of Ellestin. Only the bards and minstrels that have earned their tokens are allowed to perform in the Emra. You can try for your token on selected try out dates. You earn your token by performing so well, that the crowd collectively funds your token through tips. A tokens worth is 50 gold pieces.
