The Elder Mountains is an ancient mountain range that spans from north to south, starting at the Stone River Valley and ending at the Frozen Shores. It makes it's way through the narrow land bridge between northern Merilleon and the Ice Wastes.
Within the Elder Mountains is one of the main Dwarven kingdoms of Merilleon, with its main cities being Beinn Gobah (Snowgate) and Tuath Kumaill. West of the mountains is the human kingdom of Kreohnan and beyond that the ocean. On the mountains east side is the Inland Sea.
