Gruh'Tan is the name given to the meteor that landed in Orglen about 50.000 years before the Ahrunnic races settled in Merilleon and the counting of the Dealanai Calendar began. The crash of the meteor is considered one of the most important events in the entire history of Ylta. The name Gruh'Tan, translated to the Merillic language, means 'Stone of Gods'.

Rapid Evolution of Life

The crash of Gruh'Tan caused large fluctuations in the The Arcanum that rippled over the world of Ylta. At it's epicenter, these fluctuations started changing the climate in, what is now known as, the Gruh'Agara Crater. The crater evolved into the lush and temperate woodland it is now known as. This new climate combined with a sort of radiation emitted from the meteor caused the surrounding wildlife to evolve rapidly into the first greyskin races.

Discovery of Arcane Magic

The ripples caused by the crash of Gruh'Tan also did not go unnoticed in Asylo (The Old Continent). Here some of the Ahrunnic races started noticing strange things happening around them. Research into these occurrences lead to the discovery of the Arcanum and subsequently the discovery of arcane magic and the first wizards. This time period also saw a lot of sorcerers being born.
