Perhaps the greatest challenge I faced was writing about humans. Do not misunderstand me - every visit to human lands leads to countless stories. But that's just it! Humans are always changing! How am I supposed to write an accurate account, when by the time I'm finished my words are outdated!?

Humans are a race whose kingdoms inhabit large swaths of BaelVarnath, especially the fertile Gendigreen Grasslands and luxury-rich Tawan Savannah. At first glance, humans may seem to have no advantages over the longer-lived races like dwarves and elves. However, in their long-lived kingdoms lies their secret strength.
Humans are a stalwart people, adaptable and innovative in ways matched by none. Sure, kingdoms may rise and fall, but humans will always dust themselves off and set about rebuilding once more. It is this quality that has earned them the respect of their peers.
Subraces
