Aarakocra are an avian race originally hailing from the Elemental Plane of Air. They can be found living in the highest spires of the Jagged Crown, inhabiting caves and building platforms along the sheer cliffs. They are seldom visited, except by those wishing to be accepted into the Monastery of the Way of Air.
Within monastic and martial circles, the Aarakocra are also known for a unique martial art making use of their talons, in a manner resembling Capoeira.
