Verth is a human rogue hailing from Arandale, member of the Wings of Fortune, and brother to Anafael Ciriden Hawklight. He is a skilled thief, an expert in sleight of hand, and a devotee of Tymora, the goddess of luck.
Verth is an idealist, especially when it comes to his faith. He is generous with his (sometimes ill-gotten) wealth, and believes that through his philanthropy he will reap even greater rewards.
He has a wide horizontal scar through his left shoulder, where he was impaled by the sword of Unbekannt during their battle at Trollipsdae. He also has a jagged scar on his right thigh where he was struck by a ballista bolt during his escape.
