Was enjoying the feast when some charred halfing slapped me around. I'm still hazy on what exactly happened.
Looked like the platter we had been eating from always replenished. So I took it. Better than to leave to some rats to find.
Walking back, we were attacked by a floating spectre. Mundane weapons could not harm it. Amos blinded it using his divine powers and we ganged up on it, throwing blessed water and smacking it around with silver plates.
There were two dead bodies of some elves. From what I gathered the spectre killed them. Figures.
Back in town we sold all the treasure we'd got. We talked to the Baron and he offered us to become guards or something. Said we could have an outpost nearby if we could reclaim it from bandits. Having fortified walls between me and the Rat King does sound good.
