We devised a trap,
To fool those knaves,
We’d lure the chaps,
With whoops and waves.
And in tarder would jump,
To show his worth,
They bought it straight away! The chumps,
Albeit with mirth.
To their keep they took us,
Not bound, not tied,
We didn’t fuss,
We were bandits, we lied.
Straight to their sergeant,
That foolish old toe,
He said it was urgent,
That we fight his foes.
Alas for him, we struck him down,
And all of his friends too,
With their heads we shall gain much renown,
We gutted them through and through.
