We went into the catperson cave to clear it out. We found it completely empty apart from several prisoners left to rot. One of the prisoners was a Human (seemingly crazy but strong), one was a catperson (who was willing to help us) and 2 weird hairy creatures (who were terrified of us, we had killed some of their kin in the fort we took).
The crazy guy went off to find the catpeople who had deserted the place. We took the prisoner catperson and got him to try to track his leader through the misty maze (a total guess that there would be something there). We went in and killed some fire beetles. We kept our eyes closed the whole time we were navigating and soon got to the Minotaur's lair. It charged us and took out a retainer, but we managed to take it down with a series of lucky rolls. It had a TON of treasure, including a Staff of Healing, which would be cool for you to have.
As a final note, the catperson said that there was some people pulling the strings in another cave, they seemed to be the ones in charge of this whole chaotic operation, so I think we should lend them a visit.
