Would've believe it! We finally rid us of that slavery gang and now we are free! All thanks to that brave young lad Percy and his mate.
We had travelled to a small town called Four Towers Bridge where an innkeeper kindly put us up in exchange for chores, when we heard of a some teens who had not returned from foraging to the north, but, one lad and two girls, coming home late, what'dya think? But the townfolk seemed concerned so we offered to help.
So Percy, Pinchy, Retch, Nell, Vincent, and myself volunteered to find the youngsters and set off in the morning to what was called the Gatehouse, part of a ruined fort where the teens had gone, we were wary of our approach when we spotted figures atop the ruins.
As we got closer, we hid amongst the rubble and spied the figures were rat-men, Vincent bravely caught their attention asking whereabouts, but they responded with arrows, and we did likewise felling three of their number.
Percy led the gang into the ruin while Retch and Pinchy climbed the rear and sniped off another rat thing, and we entered the ruin, seeing a figure at the end of the corridor we gave chase, poor Vincent fell into a pit and we encountered a trio of nasty rat-men, we slew them but dear Retch succumbed to a spear.
The rest of the ruin only revealed more of the rat-men who were now subdued after seeing our vicious onslaught, but we found one of the teens, and after some light interrogation established the other teens had been taken away by "Jarlath".
We returned to the town with prisoners, some gold, a sack of silverware, a clutch of bows, and a map, which was confirmed of being of this area but needed further investigation, townsfolk were quite grateful and we vowed to go back and find the other teens.
