The Party encountered Nildar within the depths below the Duergar Outpost built within the Southeast Cliffs at the base of Kelvin Cairn. There he was leading a huge mining operation, and the finding of each of the missing item's from a recent string of thefts in Caer-Konig confirmed that these Duergar were the culprits.

A Letter found within the room where Nildar had been camping, revealed him as the brother of the Duergar leader of the scouting party they had previously encountered on the Unknown Ferry. It detailed the plan to steal the Demonic Figurehead stored in Town Hall.
