Vernon is a the kindly owner and chef of Unknown in Termalaine. He is well liked in town, and is friendly with all the hunters, miners, lumberjacks and working class men of Termalaine and some from Lonelywood.
Vernon is pissed about the recent moose attacks in Lonelywood Forest, it has hampered his regulars from Lonelywood visiting to partake in the establishment and also to bring fresh fare from the forest for trade. On the flip side, Termalaine has recently closed it's mines barring the towns miner's from working - they've been spending a lot of time and money drinking, and Vernon is pleased with the situation.
