One one of their passes through Caer Dineval, The party encountered Avery outside The Uphill Climb arguing with a Tabaxi woman which clutching a wheel of cheese. She encouraged him to leave his cheese within an offering box that is monthly collected for sacrificial offering the Frost Maiden. Despite his protests, he eventually agrees, after he has consumed part of it.
Avery is a happy 4 year old boy. His beloved grandfather Lanthis Alderduskworks in the Caer that sits looking over the town of Caer Dineval.
After the Unknown, Avery migrated north with lots of the townfolk to a refugee camp on the outskirts of Unknown.
Once it was discovered that Lanthis Alderdusk survived the Fires at Dineval Keep - the boy returned back home.
