Elkwood is Kyrandia's far West region. Covered nearly entirely in ancient jungle and vines, navigating through the realm unscathed is nigh impossible without a skilled guide to aid you in your travels.
When the chasms appeared, spewing their chaos into the world, the peoples of Elkwood feared their demise at the monstrous creatures and dark magic that crawled its way from the depths. At the turn of the tide two young girls appeared, one forever cloaked in the scent of rose and the other with the mighty Leaftide at her side; they stopped the spread of chaos and transformed Elkwood into the living forest it is today by containing the tainted ground to a single lake at the very edge of the region's border with Praetoria.
Those two girls grew to become Dahlia and Fleur of the Camellia Empire, saviors and champions of the green. In their care the peoples of Tsunagia, Wildrun and the Red Forest have lived in harmony with the many magical creatures of the realm since the collapse of Fantastico's regime.
