Nyssa was once known as the Scourge of Kyrandia, a pirate who led a crew of men, Sharkin and Saurians to pillage and plunder the entire continent and its neighbors before challenging Bassk for the title of King of the Waves. Alongside the original magical people of the world, the Sharkin and Saurians, Nyssa maintains peace in the dangerous lands of Praetoria.
Headstrong but tempered, she never backs down from a challenged but thinks of her people first; knowing full well that Solaria is the home that they've known since the beginning of time, and they will not give it up without a fight.
She captains the Daphne, an ancient ship which can only be piloted by the King of the Waves. With the KotW at the helm it's imbued with the owners deepest wish as it's captain. Nyssa wished not to be bound by just the water, and so the ship gained the ability to float across any terrain, including the sand.
