Taarna orbits a septenary star that consist of seven distinct parts that orbit one another. To the naked eye Taarna's star seems like a singular light source, however, when viewed with a stargazing devices like the monaclescope in the land of Gelder you can see the seven separate celestial bodies orbiting each other.
