The Tilsin are reptile-folk, humanoids that resemble various lizards that take on the appearances of Earth-like lizards of various types. Their appearances are seemingly random, with only direct descendants bearing similar shapes most of the time.
Tilsin mentality and society emphasizes learning and the sanctity of individual choice. A person has the right to be whoever they like, for better or worse, and they're the ones most likely to spawn the typical 'mad scientist' archetypes, as well as 'quirky genius' people. Their individual settlements rally around experiments in government or philosophy, and can vary wildly in purpose because of this. Two neighboring settlements can, because of this, become bitter rivals, and often form because of their disagreements in ideology.
Tilsin have voices that sound like two voices speaking in harmony.
