The Academy was built by Eldes Young and Laurie Quity, it is the only place in Maar that teaches the various schools of magic
The farm belonged to Queline Alderleaf. When she passed away in The Battle of Phandalin, her child, Carp, who was too young to manage it, so Alderleaf family lost ownership of the farm.
The farm is now owned by Phandalin.
Eldes Young Purchses the farm as he plans to build his wizard academy on the premises.
