To Craft the item yourself, you must spend time crafting and pass a DC equal to the following:
- Time: 8 hours x CR of the creature the item is from.
- Crafting DC: 10 + CR of the creature the item is from
- Crafting Materials = 1 + 5 x Creature CR
To pay an NPC to Carefully Craft an item you can determine the cost and time spent with the following calculations;
- Time: 8 hours x CR of the creature the item is from.
- Cost: 10gp per workday (8 hours) + 25% labor costs for crafting materials.
