A collection of small low, warm tropical islands, lagoons, reefs and atolls this area would be idelic if it wasn’t for the constant warfare. The islands constantly raid and prey on one another, the greater powers are constantly interfering as they sponsor various local leaders, and some islands have been outright annexed by The Republic of Haven and the The Antilles as naval bases or merchant enclaves.
There are many pirates here as well, the islands provide a perfect staging area for Piracy and raids into the sea lanes of the The Inner Archipelago or the coast of the major islands themselves. The major powers also maintain significant naval presence however, so using them as such is not without risk. Still the islands and many and almost impossible to fully patrol.
