Diamond Joe captains the Sloop The Traveler which generally sails in concert with the pirate Brigantine The Fortune.
He is one of the better known pirates, and has a reputation for dealing leniently with his prizes provided they promptly surrender and don't cause him any trouble.
Joe is a native of the Halfling settlement of Hardbottle and somewhat of a folk hero in his native town. However recently he has been operating more out of Skull River Bay, where he has many friends and contacts.
When staying at Skull River Bay he can usually be found at Lucky Kraken or Sally Brown’s.
