White Alice is one of the the three Alice sisters, a triplet of very powerful witches. White Alice generally presents herself as a rich, beautiful and sophisticated middle aged woman. Originally a native of Valoria, she left the region several hundred years ago traveling far to the east across the Grass Sea.
Little is known of her fate though some stories claim she is Empress of the East.
The legends paint White Alice as an incredibly logical and intelligent Machiavellian manipulator, constantly plotting and spinning plans within plans. Her magic is said to give her complete control over the minds of any sentient with the exception of her sisters.
She is also said to have a tremendous (if rigid) moral compass and serves as “the good one” on many of the tales.
Scattered across Mythras and beyond are literally hundreds of folk tales about the exploits of the Alice triplets, to the point where studying them all is considered a difficult to impossible task, even for the Valorian bards of the The Ensemble. Many of these stories are contradictory, sometimes even having different opinions on which Alice is the protagonist. Some members of the Ensemble even think there is only one Alice (probably the Red one they agree), that the others are figments or suppressed personalities or “some weird ass magic shit” as Rufus says.
