Monastery of the Bells

The first bell to be placed on this island was supposedly forged by Mithra himself during his time as a blacksmith, as part of a system to guide ships through the sandbars. A small monastery was founded here, and during Skull River Bay’s heyday as a pilgrimage center, especially devout pilgrims would bring a bell from their home to donate to the monastery. Dozens of such bells now bedeck the small island, however the legends say that the original bell that Mithra himself forged is still one of them, though no one remember which one.
