The Paderian College of Sorcery is one of two premier magical colleges in The Thousand Isles. It was founded over two hundred years ago by Uriel Ram, his magical lineage (called The Ram) is still active in the college; in fact, a descendant, Orlando Ram, is the current head of the college.
The College specializes in training sorcerers to harness their instinctual, inborn powers. It's classes are as much challenges and competitions as they are study and books. The challenges presented are rumored to be quite brutal, sometimes even fatal on the students.
The college motto of "Faciendo discimus" fits in well with this philosophy. “We learn by doing.”
