Newcomen is the youngest of the Stonebreaker brothers who journeyed from the Erinthor Mountains at the bequest of House Vetrini to resident the mines of Cerro Rico.
Newcomen (or Newt as his brothers call him) is a very short, energetic dwarf. He is a mechanical genius, always coming up with crazy inventions, many of which don’t work. However one of his crazy ideas, The Atmosphere Engine turned out to be a work of genius and morphed into a key component of the Mine Engines that allowed for the construction of the Deep Workings.
