This long steep stair was hacked out of the solid rock to provide access from the Old Mines to the New. The stair is extremely steep, though fairly broad, and connects at it's bottom with the New Drift and at it's top with a short tunnel that connects to both Old Miners Barracks and the Old Weimar Labyrinth.
The Miners Stair is closed by a huge iron door, only opened when shifts are changing.
